Moola, dinero, money for nothing. O.k. well you do have
to do a little something—don’t drive alone (which,
HELLO, …will save you a ton in gas money too).
Cash for Commuters, a Commuter Rewards program, will give
you $3/day up to $180 over a 3 month period, for each day
when you free yourself from skyrocketing gas prices and
commute nightmares. Cash for Commuters registration runs
from May 1 - September 30.
Who can participate in Cash for
Commuters?*
- Commuters that currently drive alone to work and are
willing to start carpooling, teleworking, using transit,
walking or bicycling to work.**
- Commuters that live or work in the 20-county metro
Atlanta area (Barrow, Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton,
Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton,
Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Rockdale, Spalding,
or Walton)
- Commuters that have not participated in Cash for Commuters
in the past.
*For

** If you have used a commute alternative more than three
times in the past 30 days, you are not eligible for Cash
for Commuters.
How do I get started?
- Download the Cash
for Commuters Application (588Kb).
- Read the Rules of Eligibility and Participation Guidelines.
- Fill out the application completely. You must currently
be driving alone to work in order to participate. Be sure
to select online or paper logging.
- Return your completed application by fax or mail. Only
completed applications will be accepted.
- In less than three weeks, you will receive notice of
your acceptance, along with instructions for logging and
a start date. Your start date marks the beginning of your
90-day period to earn $3 day for each day you don’t
drive alone to work!
